Foreigners who have resided continuously in China for no more than 183 days and purchase tax refund items at "buy and get the refund" stores in regions where the departure tax refund policy has been implemented, after signing an agreement and obtaining a pre-authorization for their credit card, can apply for an amount of RMB equivalent to the tax refund on the spot at the "buy and get the refund" store.
