Before entering the country, people coming to China from abroad can exchange RMB cash in advance in relevant countries or regions and bring it into the country (the limit of RMB that each person can carry each time upon entry and exit is 20,000 yuan).

After entering the country, you can exchange RMB cash at the counters of commercial bank branches, foreign currency exchange institutions and self-service exchange machines in the locations of international airports, land ports, ports and other entry ports. You can also withdraw RMB cash through ATMs using international bank cards.
